Meet the staff of ECEAT-Projects

Silvia Hendriks, MSc

After obtaining a Bachelor degree in International Business and Management in 1990, Silvia furthered a career as product manager with major Dutch and Greek tour operators where she gained a profound knowledge of the ‘business as usual’ throughout the tourism supply chain. Moreover she was active in various projects to stimulate organic agriculture in Greek tourist destinations and thus create a synergy between the two sectors. In 2007 she obtained an MSc degree in Leisure, Tourism and Environment with a Minor in Communication at Wageningen University, after which she enrolled in the Travelife system. Her principal skills encompass supply chain management, national and international marketing and communication. She speaks French, English, German, Italian and Greek and has extensive experience in Mediterranean destinations.
