This project brings together an innovative partnership of tourism providers and Natura 2000 specialists from 5 countries to raise awareness of Natura 2000 and its implications and benefits for rural tourism at the grass routes level. The actions proposed will be piloted in three very different regions of Europe, practical tools will be developed for tourism providers, these and the experiences of the project will then be disseminated to a wider network of rural tourism providers via existing networks and major forthcoming tourism related events, thereby ensuring a significant multiplier effect of the project’s impact at both regional and European level on the rural tourism sector.
